"Wall Street over Main Street"

Did anyone watch the Presidential address today? My gosh. Seriously. I wish I wasn't committed to living in this country for the next year. If I didn't have a lease I would pack up my bags and get out next month.

"We are engaged against thugs and killers"
"We're in a struggle between those who understand liberty and the importance of advancing liberty and those who don't."

Oh yeah president? Enemy enemy blah blah blah. That's bullshit and hopefully most of us now understand that.

He also thinks that instead of exploring alternative energy sources, it would be a good idea to start interior drilling and refining in the National WIldlife Area (ANWR). Bush isn't bothering to greenwash us! For the information of the American people (according to Sen. Charles Schumer) ANWR could only produce enough oil to reduce current costs by one penny.

Schumer said it well when he asked whose side is Bush on? Big Oil or the American People? You can't be on both.

The trickle down affect just isn't working. So much isn't working.

Let's make it work on our own. Obviously the people we've trusted to make our decisions are failing (miserably).

DIY or die trying.

Allright I'm done with this diatribe.

I like the fired up "unicorn." How about I quit my job, you get an idea, and we'll change the world for the better?

Or play "Apples to Apples" and drink Miller High Life.

You know...one or the other.

That sounds like the best plan ever. I got lots of ideas ...

How about we do both? Or maybe we could change the world through Apples to Apples and our world changing efforts will be sponsored by High Life?

eh eh?

I like the "DIY or die trying" bit. Some sort of fun parallel thing goin' on there. I just don't understand how this whole Alaskan drilling bullshit keeps coming up. I thought it was common knowledge that there's a pretty big difference between drilling for the oil itself and the the process of having to get it from the world oil reserve thing and then refining it and then actually using it. At this point in the American consciousness, it's just willful ignorance of the near universal push for alternative energy policies. It just seems like this administration's faculty for conservation has been vacant for so long that it doesn't understand how to approach it.

Shit, Madonna is still making music? What's up with that?
