Three of my close friends engaged over the holidays, and my first friend pregnant.

They study poetry, but do not think poetically.  They do not know how to think like a reader when reading, nor how to think like a writer while writing, nor how to think like a listener while listening.  Consequently they are poor readers, writers, and listeners.  They certainly aren't poets.

Winter Wunderland

It's actually been fun getting into the spirit this year.  Christmas trains, cookie parties, old records, and snow for days.  I think this really might be the best winter ever.

It felt goodbad.  I also rode my bike in 13 degree weather!  Damn, I'm awesome.

Can't wait for warm days though.  Mmmm I can taste it.
